I caught a bad cold last week and it knocked me out hard. I even had a fever at one point but it broke after some Tylenol and I was good (so to speak. Of course, like every other head cold I get, this turned into a sinus infection as well.
Two days later I woke up with a 102 fever, Tylenol didn’t help, but ibuprofen did. And for 3 damn days I fought that fever. It wasn’t till the third day did I have enough energy to stand up for a bit and take a warm shower that I noticed the burning sensation on my leg. And then I noticed it…the holy hell that was growing under my skin had been screwing with me for the past 3 days!
Well at least I know how to work with it this time around. It’s been 3 years since I’ve had it, I’ve stayed away from standing water, not walking outside barefoot, no swimming in chlorinated pools or even streams/rivers (which sucks being in ATX). But it is what it is. Just glad I’m starting to recover from it..
